Beef/Veal Recipes

A few of our favorite ways to prepare beef and veal items at the Village Butcher Shoppe.  They are all very tasty so it is hard to recommend one over the other.

Roast Prime Rib

A Prime Rib Roast is one of those dishes that many people enjoy only during the holidays. This roast  however is one of those very versatile cuts of meat that can be cooked in several different ways and enjoyed year round.

Braised Beef Brisket

This is a very easy dish that takes little of your time to prepare and a long time to cook but is worth it.  We like our brisket with lots of veggies and make plenty to have for leftovers.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

"Corned Beef and Cabbage" is traditionally enjoyed around St. Patrick's Day.  Why not enjoy it all year round!  Like Braised Beef Brisket, this dish takes a long time to cook with a little bit of effort on your part.

Sirloin Steak Roast Roast

A Sirloin Steak Roast is a great way to enjoy a tender roast (when cooked medium rare) and goes well with many fresh vegetables all year round.  This roast can be seasoned and cooked over the grill outside or in the oven.


There is nothing better then a warm bowl of stew on a cold winter night.  Make this with your favorite meat and vegetables.
